Greetings, all saints in Christ Jesus.
Some of my favorite accounts in Scripture involve relatively anonymous people being called upon by God to do great things. One of these people, featured in today's ZWTF classic, is Paul's scribe Tertius, who actually penned the letter to the Romans while Paul dictated it. We only know this because Tertius inserted himself into the account at the very last moment. One wonders if even Paul knew that Tertius had done it. God certainly knew. It even begs the question of whether or not Tertius
was inspired when he did it. I say that he was. It would mean that one more person contributed to the writing of the Scriptures than we generally acknowledge.
Every member of the body of Christ is important. No one is expendable. In 1 Corinthians chapter 12, Paul uses the analogy of the human body to illustrate the many members of the body of Christ. The foot might not be the most noble member of the body, but where would we be without feet? This is such a great truth. The human body is such an apt analogy of the body of Christ.
The truth of the necessity of each one of us ought to make us feel better about our roles in the body. Some of you may not even realize what your role is, but rest assured that God knows what it is and you will be made aware of it at the Dais of Christ. I am convicted that you have affected more for good, because of the faith given you by God, than you even realize. The truth will come out at the Dais, and then each will receive his or her applause from God.
I am currently in Canton, Ohio, and will be here until late Tuesday afternoon. The traveling has been exhausting. I feel worn out. I'm probably dehydrated; it's hard to drink enough water at home, let alone on the road. I'll be making Monday and Tuesday's MZTV shows from here. Thank you for your continued support of this work. We all are getting by day by day. I can barely think or plan ahead more than one day. Even that becomes too much. The world has become too fast and technical for me.
I think I should have been born in 1875. Technology—as wonderful as it is in helping us keep in touch—is literally taking away our sanity. Sometimes I think about living in a treehouse in Costa Rica. I hear they have pretty good coffee there.
We are not much longer upon this earth, thank God. Keep doing what you are doing. Don't give up hope. We have more than a hope,ZWT anyway—we have an expectation.
Expecting the snatching away of the body, with you,
—Martin
