The first mention of the man of lawlessness is in Daniel, chapter nine, when he is called "the other governor," and is said to be "master of a covenant with many." This is likely the time
when the man of lawlessness is "unveiled" (2 Thessalonians 2:3), before which time the body of Christ (the "detainer" of 2 Thessalonians 2:7) must be "coming to be out of the midst."
The body of Christ can only be on the earth, apparently, while the "secret of lawlessness" is in play, that is, while lawlessness is disguised as righteousness. By the time Satanic lawlessness comes out from behind its cloak, the body of Christ will have been evacuated from the earth.
