None of us are perfect. When we were in the Christian religion, however, we were told that this was not acceptable. Every day, we were told, we should be striving for perfection: 100% at peace; never discouraged; never despairing; never depressed, and certainly never worried about anything. There was a time when I, also, bought into this. But then I saw passages where even Bible writers were at least some of these things: despairing, depressed, etc. I confronted what appeared to be
contradictory passages. For instance, people who said, "be at peace" were not, themselves, at peace. In one of the greatest revelations ever to soothe my sensibilities, I discovered that true believers were supposed to be perfectly fine with not being perfectly fine. Wow! Life was fun again. I was allowed to be happy about not being happy. Here is an audio that I made in June of 2000 at the Willard, Ohio conference, very soon after encountering this great truth. Our friend and fellow-believer
Rodney Paris is taking a hundred or so audios that I recorded between 1994 and 2005, digitizing them, and setting them to video. This production is his, and I am grateful for his undertaking. Audio messages that you may never have heard otherwise—because they were recorded on the archaic substance known as magnetic tape—are now in the publishing queue thanks to our Texas brother. Thank you, Rodney.
I hope that all of you are doing relatively well here at the end of Eon 3. It's a slog through the mud, that's for sure. But God does sew in enough little sparks of life to help keep us going. He will never forsake us. I also thank Him that you have not forsaken me, but have stood by me and encouraged me to keep going through your prayers, your emails, your contributions to this work, and simply by continuing to watch the videos I record and read the newsletters and books that I
write.
Speaking of books, there are two new ones on the way. The typesetting process is in its final stages. Thank you for your patience. I will tell you more before too long. It is all happening because of you.
My fellow saints, we are together to the end. But the end of this eon, for us, will be the most spectacular of beginnings.
Yours from the edge of the bottom,
—Martin
