This brief remark at the beginning of most of Paul's letters is overlooked as nothing more than a standard greeting of Paul's. This is NOT a standard greeting of ANYONE'S. This is a message to us
from GOD, repeated in nearly every letter lest we doubt it due to the sheer improbability of the sentiment; lest we doubt it over the apparent preposterousness of its source and content.
I had no intention, in this video, to stay at this verse—to be captured and, really, mesmerized by it. It is as though, five minutes into my presentation, I am reading it for the first time. As this video unrolls, I am discovering a depth and reality to these words that, apparently, I'd never before truly appreciated.
