Good morning, fellow believers. As I sit on the sofa this morning reading this article for the first time since writing it, I cannot even remember writing it. I do recognize it as my writing, but I have no recollection of the deliberations or the processes involved in its creation. It's the weirdest thing. My fingers must have certainly touched every one of the computer keys that produced every single letter of this piece, but how, when and where this happened has been erased from my
memory. Thus, the truth of Justification, here highlighted, shines new to me. And I love it. I'm amazed at it. Justification is the most incredible gift of God that I can think of.
Thus, not remembering this piece (produced as recently as the summer of 2018) has been a gift to me. If I, as the author, do not remember writing or reading it, then perhaps you won't remember it either. Which is why I send it along to you today. Be amazed at what God has done for us, through Christ!
Justification is one of the most important truths that we can apprehend. It is vital to our peace. This truth is expounded upon only in Paul's letter to the Romans. It is hinted at by David, but never expounded upon—no, not even close. God saved the grand exposition for Paul, as Justification could not be explained apart from the crucifixion of Christ; the crucifixion of Christ produced it.
I pray that you, like me, will offer God your deepest thanksgiving today for one of the grandest truths in the Scripture, albeit a truth that is completely—completely—unknown in organized religion, especially that religion that claims to venerate said Scripture, though it knows it not.
May today be a new day of peace for you as the great gem of Justification is unveiled—perhaps for the first time—before your very eyes.
Yours from the peninsula,
Martin
