The History of the Universe, Chapter 8
The Creation of Satan
|
Good morning, body of Christ. Here is chapter 8 of "The History of the Universe," a book ai started early last year but only got halfway through because I got discouraged as hell about something or other and I stopped writing (in March of 2019) and haven't written
anything since. Whether God cures me of this affliction or not remains to be seen. I hope He does. As I read this chapter of "The History of the Universe," I am impressed by it and I want to finish it. But God is going to have to change something in my heart, mind and attitude for me to do that. Please pray for me along
that line. It won't change anything, but it might feel good.
I am finding even in the camp of believers that there are people who still are repulsed that God created evil, which would include Satan. There are still those who wish to "clean up" God's resume and distance Him from the
more unpleasant circumstances of life. As long as I'm breathing, I will fight this with everything I have. I do it in this chapter.
There is also a gaggle of believers who don't think that God operates ALL things in accord with the counsel of His own will (as Ephesians 1:11 says that He does). They pit their own ideas about things against Scripture, and they don't mind when Scripture disagrees with them. They won't correct their ideas to align with Scripture because they are too romantically attached to their ideas.
In this edition of the ZWTF, I make it abundantly clear that Life is a pre-written Script, of which we know the ending. Though all the actors in this vast production (including Satan) are mostly unaware that they are acting out a Script, they nevertheless fulfill every single pre-written action, right down to every word of dialogue.
I hope that you are comforted rather than troubled by all of this. It's a hit to the pride, I know. Human pride bristles at the mere concept that nothing in Life is left to human ingenuity or artistry. But as for me and my household, we will serve the Master of the Script and be glad that we have a role.
Grace and peace to you all,
—Martin
