Greetings to all the saints in the world who honor the God and the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. Instead of a classic ZWTF newsletter today, I want to forward you two videos and a "Clanging Gong News" newsletter on the topic of the absolute and the relative perspective.
These two videos will help anyone struggling with sovereignty of God issues, who may wonder just how much of this world God controls and how much of it, if any, He has left to its own devices. I will give you this hint: God's hands are never removed either from the steering wheel of the universe, or of your life.
To those who have struggled with various verses in the Bible that seem to suggest that there is wiggle-room in this life for a little bit of human
free will, here is a major and important consideration for your understanding: the absolute vs. the relative perspective. These two videos, which address this topic, will help you sort out any difficulties that you may
have had with various Scripture verses that seem, at first glance, to suggest human independence from the Deity.
I re-publish these videos—one from 2018 and one from 2019—on the heels of the video series that I published last week called, "Here Comes Free Will Again." As you know, I detest any teaching that lowers God by relegating Him to a Being Who merely interferes occasionally in His universe but for the most part lets the world do its own thing. How anyone could even entertain this idea for a second and still have peace, is beyond me.
