Some people imagine "freedom in Christ" to be a really great Christian saying, but merely theoretical. Most people—especially religious people—can't live in its reality. They don't trust
it. And so Paul emphasizes here in Galatians: "For FREEDOM Christ frees you." True freedom is so hard to fathom and accept that Paul has to double-emphasize it. Let's listen to the apostle and grasp the true freedom that operates on our behalf in Christ.
