Good morning, fellow believers. One of the most important things to master in the Scriptures is the difference between God's will and His intention. His will is the thing that is revealed to the public, but His intention is the sometimes secret thing that He has planned to do. God's hidden intention
sometimes clashes with His revealed will. For instance, God's will is expressed in the commandment: "You shall not commit murder." But His intention is fulfilled when He causes Israel to murder His Son on the cross.
Does God contradict Himself? Never! Whenever His will and intention collide, it is God doing it purposely for the ultimate benefit of His creatures.
