Belief in the Trinity is completely inconsistent with membership in the body of Christ in that it denies the death of Christ, which is a foundational element of Paul's gospel. When I
started teaching this, even mature believers reacted in shock and dismay. Why? I was eliminating hundreds of millions of nominal Christians (many of whom were friends and family members of the true saints) from the body of Christ. But was it I who was eliminating them, or was it Paul? Or was it the truth itself?
