Greetings to all the saints in Christ Jesus. Martin Zender here from the edge of the bottom of the Floridan peninsula. As many of you know who are following my MZTV series, I am dissecting Romans, chapter 11 and therefore discussing the special case of Israel while she is "on hold" and the nations are flying high in Paul's gospel. God has not forgotten about His people. He has not cast them away. Their apostasy is riches to the nations. After the fulness of the nations comes in, then God
will take up with Israel again and fulfill the much-and-long anticipated New Covenant.
We often hear that, when he was alive, Peter went to the nations with the gospel. Yes, but what gospel? And if Peter was taking "the gospel" to the nations, then what was Paul doing? Wasn't he was the apostle to the nations?
I love nothing more than clearing up these questions for you, so here are the answers in a classic ZWTF newsletter from November of 2018. This edition gels nicely with the material being covered on my ZWTF program, broadcast five days a week on my YouTube channel.
I love understanding these things practically. I am somehow able to put myself in the middle of the first-century drama and feel what these characters were feeling as the fulfillment of the New Covenant faded into the future and Paul's star rose brightly in far corners of the earth. It is as real today as it was back then. Here is the thing that is difficult for people in the body of Christ today to believe: we are still living out first century drama.
Hang on, folks. We are entering the final months of Millennium Six. Things are proceeding as expected. I will be talking about the political situation soon on MZTV, so stay tuned.
From the peninsula, with love and appreciation for all of you,
Martin
