Israel crucified her Messiah. Oops; what could be worse? Yes, but here are two silver linings: 1) the death of Christ effected the salvation of the world, and 2) because Israel rejected the Messianic
kingdom (which was, relatively speaking, at the door), the nation was "put on hold." God then used the vacuum of Israel's national apostasy to announce an entirely new message to an entirely new people, via the apostle Paul: the gospel of the grace of God.
