God is actually strengthening His enemies and making His friends weaker. This is so that, when the weak eventually conquer the strong (and they will), God will get the credit. God conquers opposition, not by muscle, but by supernatural means. We're being set up for an astounding display of this principle—by means of an astounding victory over the powers of darkness and deception.
