Our friend Alan Hess is using a faulty translation and interpretation of Galatians 2:7 in order to teach that Paul's gospel is the same as Peter's gospel. This
is worse than removing the borders from around a country. Alan doesn't mean to be doing this, but he is removing the borders from a gospel that assures us of the transcendent grace of God, and exposing it to foreign elements such as law. By allowing Paul's distinct gospel to be infiltrated by the other New Testament writers, Alan cannot help but bring confusion into the ecclesial rather than clarity. This cannot stand. And because it is based on a provably false translation and interpretation of
a foundational verse, it will not stand.
