The law is a fresh, beating heart, but Old-Covenant Israel is a corpse. This is why there is no righteousness on the Earth. God will transfer the "heart" of law into New-Covenant Israel, but until then Israel is dead and cannot even hope to obey the Ten Commandments. All the remnant can do is wait.
