Jesus was out of town when his friend Lazarus got sick, and then He delayed two days on the road on purpose so that Lazarus would die. Why? Because He has resurrection—not death—in mind. Do you wonder why He hasn't been here for 2,000 years? Same reason. 2,000 years is as two days to Him (2 Peter 3:8). He's waiting to give us life. Stand by.
