Enjoy this trilogy of classics from the Revelation Series telling you the best way to keep yourselves relatively stress-free during an era that is quickly passing by. Don't be deceived by those
telling you to tie yourself down tighter to this era. Don't be deceived by those telling you to become
overly involved with the world because the return of Christ is hundreds of years away. Suchadvice is the antithesis of what Paul writes in 1 Corinthians 7:29-31—
Now this I am averring, brethren, the era is limited; that, furthermore, those also having wives may be as not having them, 30 and those lamenting as not lamenting, and those rejoicing as not rejoicing, and those buying as not retaining, 31 and those using this world as not using it up. For the fashion of this world is passing
by.
1 Corinthians chapter 7 does not belong to "a previous administration," as Clyde Pilkington and Stephen Hill would have you believe.
Paul's advice in 1 Corinthians chapter seven is as applicable today as it was when Paul wrote it—because we are living in the same era.
Grace and peace,
Martin
