Hi, Everyone. Martin Zender here. I have been sick with, first a sore throat, and now the flu. I am about six days into this debilitating inconvenience.
I did not have it in me to make a "Saturday Insider" video for you today. But I did have it to scour my extensive video library and bring you this
delightful message of how we are saved, and why Peter's gospel had to come before Paul's. I love this video. I don't think I have seen it since the day I made it back on March 23, 2017. Please post this video on social media. This is a good introduction to salvation by grace and God's use of evil.I'm still hacking though a newsletter for tomorrow, and it will be shorter than usual. But don't worry; it's packed with the usual, rollicking truth.
I am rarely sick, but being sick makes me super empathetic toward those weakened by chronic illnesses or physical disabilities. My heart is with you all.
The good news is that God is about to change our weak, floundering vessels into glorious bodies incapable of death or sin—or the flu. In the meantime, thank God for the attached message of His present and coming grace.
