When we think of devoutness, we think of nuns or monks (or Christians; same thing basically) getting into their prayer closets, clearing out the mothballs, striking a holy prayer pose and then trying not to move, lest they sin. It may surprise many people to learn, however, that devoutness has nothing to do with behavior. Here's a clue: Mary was devout while she was sitting at the feet of Christ, listening to Him.
