Back in Paul's day, "gentlemen" by the name of Hymeneus and Philetus subverted the faith of some, saying that "the resurrection has already occurred " (2 Timothy
2:18). Paul called them out. Today, Clyde Pilkington
and others such as Stephen Hill are saying that the snatching away of the living saints and the resurrection of the dead in Christ is centuries away—with shoddy evidence supporting the claim. What do you think this is doing to the faith of some? Subverting it. The cure? The same one Paul used 2,000 years ago, "Expose, rebuke, and entreat, with all patience and teaching" (2 Timothy 4:2).
