In a very profound and real sense, we now suffer the same straits as Jesus and Paul in that, at present, we don't see a great return on our investments (our experiences) in life. But don't worry because, as with Jesus and Paul, God saves all the justifications and rewards for later. The happy news in this is that, for us, "later" is very soon.
