God does a lot of odd, seemingly ridiculous things in Scripture. The assumption among the world's intelligentsia is that God is trying to look smart and failing. What these numbnuts can't now understand is that God does ridiculous things on purpose in order to trap the "wise" in their own so-called "wisdom."
