Greetings to all. The big takeaway from this timeless presentation is that death is not a punishment for sin. Why? Because death cannot be adjusted to fit various degrees of sin. A baby is just as dead as Adolph Hitler. How, then, could death be a punishment for sin?
No, but death is the result of being in Adam. There is no punishment for sin—technically. Sin results in suffering. Jesus Christ took away the Sin of the world. Yet sin still produces suffering in the cause and effect. department. But as for Sin's insistent voice of condemnation and guilt? Forget it. Sin cannot touch us in these departments.
If only this truth were realized, then no one would try to force the lake of fire/second death into being a "second mortality" where human beings are tried and processed, cajoled out of their sinning ways, and taught about Jesus. This is nothing but a glorification of death, which is completely sick to me. Death is an enemy; death does NOT bring people to God. It takes people away from
God. Anyone, therefore, who makes THE SECOND DEATH a wonderful place where human beings are purified glorifies death. Shame on them. I'm not going to let it happen on this channel, or anywhere.
I don't mean to make enemies over this; I do mean to herald the truth about death which will in turn highlight the glory and power of resurrection. I owe my allegiance to God and Christ.
Again I say: Death is not a penalty for sin. Death is not a result of Sin, but rather Sin is a result of death. If everyone could get this into their heads, then the nasty habit of glorifying the second death would cease and desist. Those raised at the great white throne are adjusted while they are ALIVE. No one can be adjusted in death. What some people want to happen in the lake of
fire, ACTUALLY happens at the great white throne, BEFORE the lake of fire.
This video offers up all the proof any reasonable thinking person would need to stop glorifying the second death. There are even grammatical considerations here that will lock down the truth, that is, if folks are willing to understand that God set up the laws of grammar Himself and never fails to follow them.
Thanks again to Rodney Paris who TIRELESSLY spends a good chunk of his weekend preparing these wonderful Sunday presentations to the saints. Rodney does this out of the goodness of his heart and out of his love for the truth and for the saints of God, who are members of Christ's body.
I recorded this message in Wagener, SC, in November of 1997. Here is it, resurrected 25 years later by Mr. Paris. Truth never changes. And apparently, Rodney never gets tired.
Grace and peace and THANK YOU to all of my friends and fellow body members in Christ. I love you all.
