Dear Fellow Believers,
Big doctrines rise and fall on a single word. Never is this more true than with the doctrine of eternal torment, which depends on the mistranslation of the Greek word "aion" to sustain itself. Correctly and consistently translate this
single four-letter word, and the hideous teaching of eternal torment disappears.
This is why Paul told Timothy to "have a pattern of sound words" (2 Timothy 1:13).
Thanks to my fellow workers who were at the table with me in June of 1999 at WCCD radio in Cleveland, OH when we broadcast, live, this important
week of shows: Mike and Denise Telep, Charlie Cronk, Curt Downing, and Ken Pridemore. Charlie Cronk died six or so years ago; I dedicate this week of broadcasts to him. He was the truest believer I ever knew, and the kindest soul. He lived six miles to the north of me, in North Fairfield, OH. We drove the 90 minutes to the Cleveland studio together many times.
Rodney Paris of Texas has done another
great job bringing the old cassette tapes from these shows alive. It's so much fun for me seeing what Rodney does each weekend, as I have not heard these message in a couple decades and, of course, have never seen the accompanying video and text frames. Thank you, Rodney.
And thank YOU for watching and for passing this video along to all those you know who may have an ear for the truth—and for sound
words.
From the Floridan peninsula,
