One of my favorite books of Scripture, Colossians details the glories of Christ: 1) He's the Image of the Invisible God, 2) He's the
Firstborn of all creation; 3) in Him is all created, 4) He is before all, and 5) all has its cohesion in Him. If this were not enough, Paul comes to a wham-bang conclusion in 1:18 with, "...and He is the head of the body."
Wha? Our Prince, our Leader, the One Who has taken us into His confidence, the One in Whose image we shall be—is the same one Who does all these things?
Yep. This is Colossians.
