When it comes to the promises and God and Christ, to say that I'm optimistic is an insult to these promises. Of these promises I am
certain and assured. Concerning the everyday events of life, however, I've no real confidence of things going what I would call "well." But returning again to the divine promises, "All things are working together to the good of those who are loving God"—of this I am absolutely convinced. So the love of God and His loving development of me is the ultimate "well" there could be. Thus, I have come to trust Him in and through my every circumstance.
