Frank Whalen, a disc-jockey and conspiracy theorist from Fayetteville, Arkansas, found me in the spring of 2004. I had just published two books ("How to Quit Church Without Quitting God" and "Martin Zender's Guide to Intelligent Prayer") and had given Frank an advance copy of my latest book, "Flawed by Design." Frank called "Flawed", "The best book I've ever read," and asked me if he could interview me on his radio program. "Just try to keep me off it," I said.  

This led to about twelve more interviews over a period of two years. Frank and I discovered that we were kindred souls. We would not meet in the flesh until October of 2007, when the month-long "Zender Tour" passed through Arkansas. But we had established a relationship based on a love of the truth and a hatred of institutional religion that served both us and our listeners well. Today, nearly 20 years later, I hope it serves YOU well.

Frank would often say that nothing was more important to his listeners or to the world than the message I had to bring. He was right. Thanks to Rodney Paris for once again cajoling an audio into the visual world and introducing this audience to the lovely man known as Frank Whalen.
