Greetings to all fellow members of the Body of Christ,
Rodney worked hard this weekend to build the Grace Cafe video we wanted to show you today, and I worked hard to edit it and send Rodney the corrections. The problem was that, because
Rodney and I had so many things going on this weekend, we were each late in getting to our tasks. This would ordinarily not have been a problem except for the following:
It was one o'clock in the morning in Texas, and two in the morning where I was, and as Rodney sat down to put in the edits (he's a night owl), Google asked for a second verification to
grant access to my YouTube channel. This was completely random; Rodney had never been confronted with this before. Google said, "We have send a verification code to your cell phone." But guess whose cell phone was set up with the channel? That's right: mine. And guess what I was doing at two o'clock in the morning? If you said, "Dancing the Salsa with a half dozen Latin women at a Miami nightclub," you would be incorrect. I was sleeping.
Next question: Guess who turns off his phone every night to prevent anyone from calling him at ungodly hours? If you guessed "Jay Leno," you would be incorrect again. I happen to know that Jay Leno's phone is ALWAYS on. Nope, it was me. And so when I got up this morning to put up the corrected video, guess who DIDN'T have a corrected video, but instead had a voice text on WhatsApp from Rodney Paris
explaining to him why there was no corrected video?
And so it goes. Our apologies. The conclusion reached by Rodney and myself—which we are certain will be your conclusion as well—is that God did not want a Rodney Paris/Martin Zender special to go out this weekend. And for this, we are both sorry. But heck, when you're up against God's intention, you
just have to give in.
So instead, please enjoy this classic. We will be back next Sunday with the Grace Cafe video titled, "The Purpose of God to Save All Humanity."
Grace and peace to all of you, and THANK YOU
for your loving support, which never fails to bolster my spirits and remind me that there is a great army behind me in this work: And it is you. I am not alone. God is always with me, and so are you, my dear friends and fellow-believers.
With appreciation and love,
—Martin
