Dear Fellow Believers,
If you have been looking for a Sovereignty of God Grace Cafe show, this is it. This is the video you send to your friends who are trying to have a sovereign God and free will at the same time. The gang at the table in Cleveland, Ohio say: "That's impossible."
One of my favorite parts is when I
challenge local pastors to call the show (it's a live, call-in broadcast) and give us one verse proving human free will. I say, "Don't give us verses showing people DOING things, or WILLING things, you must bring a verse proving that someone is doing something INDEPENDENTLY OF GOD. Then I said, "Call us. It is your responsibility, pastors, to keep your congregations in continual darkness.") Or something wonderful like that.
This broadcast includes a "Pick Up the Pieces"
segment, also known as "The Comment Corner," where I do my best imitation of an arrogant free will person. But aren't all free will people arrogant? Oh yes they are.
Toward the end of the broadcast, Charlie Cronk helps me do a demonstration with a chunk of Play-Doh, which substitutes for clay in a Romans 9 display of claydom. This is the first use of Play-Doh to illustrate the truth of the sovereignty of God in the history of live radio.
Thanks again to
Rodney Paris who works harder on the weekends than he does during the week to bring these twenty-five year old messages to you in a modern format.
Thanks to all of you for your generous support of this work. I couldn't do it without you.
Grace and peace from the peninsula,
Martin
