Much of the doubt concerning the sovereignty of God concerns puzzlement over how God could could judge those whom He created as vessels of dishonor.  The answer lies in Isaiah chapter 10 with a man named Sennacherib. This king of Assyria, and God's treatment of him, unveils God's underlying motive in eventually causing the beneficiaries (yes, beneficiaries) of His judgments to analyze their own hearts and come face-to-face with what they THOUGHT they were doing. What does Sennacherib have in common with Christian free will believers? A LOT.
