Dear Fellow Believers,
This is going to be a fun show to watch because a lot of YOU are one it. While the Grace Cafe crew is talking about the sovereignty of God and the absolute versus the relative perspective, Rodney Paris runs video clips of various conferences and Body-of-Christ interviews that highlight YOU, the faithful viewers of
MZTV.
The sovereignty of God seems to clash with passages of Scripture showing human beings doing things and deciding things. The mistaken belief is that the human beings are doing things and deciding things without a cause, that is, without influence. But of course everyone is influenced by God. It's just that the Scriptures do not TELL US, at every moment, that none of these human beings are acting independently of God's omnipresent influence. This is known as the difference
between the absolute and the relative perspectives.
Absolutely, all is of God. This is the default setting of truth that must be established firmly in the mind. Then, when you see people doing and deciding things, you must realize that, even though Scripture does not state in the context that these people are being directly controlled by the Deity, they nevertheless are. It would be a very thick book indeed if God stated after every single human action, "And don't forget that
all is of God."
Rodney picks a great video to close with, an MZTV episode discussing the 5 Big Truths.
Thanks to everyone for supporting this work over the years, for without you this avenue of truth would have been closed a long time ago.
With much appreciation from the peninsula,
—Martin
