Just when you thought you knew everything; the Greek word for “resurrection” or “raised” is not used in 1 Corinthians 15:1-5, where Paul explains the basics of his evangel. A different word is used here that, really, doubly assures us that Jesus Christ’s extrication from death was purely an act of God.
