Dear Fellow Believers,
This is a continuation of last week's ZenderTalk, as I commandeered a steam train last week concerning the identity of the lost ten tribes of Israel that were taken into captivity in 732 B.C. (before I was born) and subsequently scattered among every nation on earth (Amos 9:9). To accommodate my steamy (and lengthy) oratory,
Rodney and I have extended show #80 into this Part B, which is a shocking education you don't want to miss.
Why does modern Christianity seem to be repeating the mistakes of ancient Israel? What mistakes, you ask. Having a form of God yet denying the power; forever leaning yet not at any time able to come to a realization of the truth; being suffused with self-righteousness; desiring to keep God to oneself (not wanting to hear of the salvation of all). It is because modern
Christianity IS ancient Israel—yet an ancient Israel that has lost her identity.
I like one of my opening comments. It goes like this: "You can miss truth by a millimeter or a mile; missing truth by a millimeter is worse because it is so NEAR the truth, though just as far away as the 'miss-by-a-mile' variety. Missing the truth by a millimeter is Satan’s specialty; it's his area of expertise."
Rodney's black and white video accompaniment showing gaggles of
religious people acting all pious in churches and auditoriums; raising their arms, chanting, mumbling sweet nothings to Jesus, performing somber parades up church aisles, ascending the stone steps of their self-made altars; fondling Jesus trinkets; well, it is shocking and at the same time sickening to those who have come to hate a form of devoutness that is void of the power of God.
I love all of you. I can't live without you. Thank you for the love you show me, either by
your comments on this channel, your emails, your prayers, or your financial contributions. By these means you hold me up to God and cause me to do what I do. As I always say, I couldn't do it without you. This is not a figure of speech.
Thanks also to Rodney and my sister Kelly who each play such a major role in getting these videos to you---videos that accompany audios made twenty-three years ago that are still as vital today as they were when I recorded them in Greenwich, OH
in 2002.
Grace, peace, and love to you all in Christ.
