Greetings, one and all. These five shows of ZenderTalk are truth lite. There may not be enough meat here for those who, these days, have come to expect more lengthy, in-depth conversations concerning Christ and His glories. On the other hand, this may very well suit newcomers to the faith or those considering the faith. What do you think?
In 2014,
while living in Windber, Pennsylvania, I did a thorough, verse-by-verse audio series on the book of Hebrews. This would probably be my preferred fodder for mature digestion, but I'm not deaf to the needs of the newcomers. Since this show is for you, what do YOU want to see and hear? In either case, Rodney Paris will produce an interesting multi-media presentation.
As I listen to and watch these five shows, I'm grateful that they come one after another—kind of like
binge-watching a television series. Putting myself in the place of those listening to ZenderTalk one day at a time back in 2001, I actually feel a little ashamed for giving out so little truth in such short packages.
Let Rodney and myself know what you would like. While I can't remember exactly what's coming next, I'm confident that the pace picks up. Rodney tells me that, as I go on, the shows get longer. I made 50 of these shows, then I took a break to write a few books. A
couple months later, I returned to publish 30 more shows, making a total of 80 ZenderTalks. I'm confident that there are some meaty and entertaining episodes to come, but I'm prepared to shift gears according to the will of you, the body of Christ.
Give us your opinion! In the meantime, thanks always to those who, for 31 years, have supported this work in whatever form it has taken over the years. God knows who you are—and so do I.
With much appreciation, I
am remaining your brother in Christ and servant in the Lord from the edge of the bottom of the Floridan peninsula,
