Idolatry is offering divine service to the creature rather than to the Creator (Romans 1:25). The creature might be an image thereof—or the creature itself.

Today we find that those who would relegate idolatry to a bygone era and a bygone people have in fact popularized it to the degree that few recognize it. But God recognizes it. And now, so do you.
