A commenter on yesterday's video went off-topic and, starting with the Brandon Caruthers account of the woman burned alive in her car, and ending with the tragic loss of life in the Texas flooding, struggled massively and groped aimlessly to find answers as to the degree of God's involvement in these horrors.

God compelled me to address this, so here is the answer. It is a simple yet difficult answer that some may not like—but it is the answer nonetheless. To the spiritually and Scripturally-minded, there is no other answer.
