Knowledge of God (His ways and His plans) directly correlates with a person's ability/willingness to BELIEVE God, via Scriptural revelation.
But alas, there is a
gaggle of self-aggrandizing wannabe deities, even in the body of Christ, who, rather than simply believing God and leaving it at that, would rather run God's revelations through multiple personal filters—what they would do if THEY were God; whether or not THEY think an action of God's makes sense; whether or not THEY understand God's motives; whether or not THEY think what God's doing is right—than simply believe God's declarations.
They don't want anything to be easy, I guess. There would be nothing to whine about, I guess. They would be left, I guess, to silently acquiesce to God's wisdom rather than silver-platter, to themselves, a platform upon which to broadcast to the world their esteemed (so they think) objections.
To tell you the truth, my patience for the kind of pompous human reasoning that would dare question God is running kind of thin.
