We may be coming to an end of an era of crippling political correctness when students were passed along by their instructors, even through college, without being able to read or properly write. But the damage has been done. These graduates, now desperately seeking meaningful employment, lack the proper
reading, writing, and basic communication skills to impress prospective employers.
In addition, how many adults look back to their time as children and wish their parents had been tougher on them, given them more discipline—insisting they take those piano lessons, for instance—rather than spoiling them by catering to their whims. They may have enjoyed
the kid-gloves treatment as children, but as adults they mourn their inadequacies.
I have a feeling that at the Great White Throne there will be many who will wonder why, during their tenure in Eon 3, no one really got tough with them concerning their errant beliefs about God. Why was everyone so damn nice? Is that what true believers are supposed to
be? Nice? How "nice" is it to be standing naked at the Great White Throne, having missed out on a true understanding of God and Christ?
Don't be afraid to make someone uncomfortable with the truth. Better a little friction now than a lot later when Eon 4 is in the eonian rear-view and the era of faith is over.
