A believer named Neil Christian in New Zealand sent me a stunning email with his thoughts about why we are going through all of these trials. Let's just say that God's love, combined with His PURPOSELY making us weak and then subsequently subjecting us to a world with so many frights, has OBLIGATED Him to reward us handsomely when it's all over. You're going to love this. 

In the meantime, a huge and understated THANK YOU from Maria and myself for your contributions toward my medical expenses as we fly to Peru tomorrow with a June 11 surgery date. I can't tell you how your love and care for us has given us such a peace concerning this decision. We KNOW we are on the right track and that we are in the hands of God. Being in God's hands, He has worked His will through YOUR hands. We will be in touch throughout the trip.
