Greetings, fellow members of the Body of Christ,
Well, Rodney had trouble with the theme song today. What YouTube was fine with the past few weeks, they have blocked this week. So at the last minute Rodney had to go through the video and modify the music portions of the audio. He said he's not completely satisfied with the results, but I think it's
fine. After all, it's the message that counts! "There are some rough spots," said Rodney. I don't think it's so bad, and it certainly doesn't interfere with the message.
And the message is amazing! These two shows focus on Christ, who is the Inaugurator of the New Covenant for Israel, as describe (although rather obtusely) by Paul in the letter to the Hebrews. That Christ died and was roused from the dead is the guarantee that the worthy Israelites will also rise from the
dead. THEY have to be concerned with being worthy; we do not. It's a big difference between the two gospels, but nevertheless the Hebrews would have been glad for the assurance that Jesus Christ went before them behind the veil.
I thought one of the best things Paul wrote in the second chapter was that everything had been subjected to Christ, but that no one was yet SEEING everything subjected to Christ. This helps us as well. Christ has all power and authority, He just hasn't
executed it yet. We, as members of the body of Christ, are heaven's aristocracy, but no one can see it yet. We have yet to be unveiled.
The second show makes an important point between the phrases "a celestial calling," and "among the celestials." The phrase "among the celestials" does not appear in Hebrews, but only in Paul's letter to the Ephesians, that is, his letter to the body of Christ. The "celestial calling" is a call that ORIGINATES in the celestials, but comes to
and is manifested upon earth. Much like the New Jerusalem.
Have you ever wondered what Jesus meant when He said, "The kingdom of God is WITHIN you"? The Preterists and other ignorant groups have taken this to mean that the Millennium is not going to be a literal political kingdom upon the earth. This is so not the case. It means that the New Covenant, rather than being like the Old Covenant, which worked from the outside in, (outside laws were FORCED upon the people), the New
Covenant starts from the inside, from a changed heart. So rather than being an outside/in covenant, the New Covenant goes from inside to out. This saying certainly does not eliminate a literal, physical, political kingdom.
I love these two shows. They are loaded and powerful. Understanding the letter to the Hebrews will help all of us understand God's purpose of the eons.
Thank you so much for your financial support of this work. I KNOW WHO YOU ARE. More
importantly, God knows who you are. He has moved upon your heart to keep this ministry going for thirty-three years now. God has used you to tell me that He wants me to keep going. And this I will, as God gives strength and encouragement. And He has certainly given me this strength and encouragement though you. SO THANK YOU ONE AND ALL.
Remaining your brother in Christ and servant in the Lord,
Martin
