Broadcasting the evangel entails risk. God doesn't float a cursor over the heads of those He has designated beforehand for eonian life. How simple this business would be if He did. We would simple approach those who have been designated beforehand and give them the necessary truth.
Rather, we must broadcast, that is, throw out the seed and see where it lands. This is what Paul did on Mars Hill in Athens. He risked ridicule (and got it) in order to reach the few destined to hear.
This is our calling as well. We are
not responsible for who gets the truth or who hates us for heralding it. That's God's business. But there is great reward in the heralding. God rewards us, not according to result, but according to effort.
So broadcast away.
