Greetings, ladies and gentlemen, and welcome back to the Hebrews series.
In the first show, I talk about how vexed Christ was by death—by death, by unbelief, by everything. He was so sensitive. Do you feel that way sometimes? I do. In this way, God has made us like Christ.
The Hebrews have a Savior Who can relate to them, as do
we.
One of the shocking things I say in this first show is that truths like the salvation of all and the sovereignty of God are milk, and not meat. We think they are "meat" topics, but only because the bar of truth is so low today and the world believes such whacko things. But these truths I mentioned are in fact basics.
At the end of the first show I talk about how tired I am, then I somehow go on a multi-minute rant about true spirituality. Quite
impressive, I must say.
In Show 21, we are looking at Paul's recommendation to the Hebrews not to return to the foundational elements, to things like repentance and baptism. They were to go on, go on, go on. And in this show I share what I tell people who think they need baptized.
I am really enjoying listening to, and now watching, these teachings on the topic of Hebrews. I'm glad you're here enjoying it as well.
A big thanks to all of
you who have contributed this month to the work. How can I thank you enough? God keeps me going through your generosity. And I have to tell you: you're backing the right horse. God is continually bringing new subscribers to the channel and the views are going through the roof. This is because of you!
Grace, peace, and love to all of you from below the equator,
Martin
