Let's go to Romans chapter 3. Here, Paul is still in the business of shutting every mouth so that in verse 21 of this chapter he can finally announce the evangel. See, you can't announce an evangel based entirely on the action of God until you squash all the human objections AGAINST God.
And boy are there a lot of human objections against God---even in the body of Christ. Some don't like how God judges. Some don't like how God awards. Some don't like how even lies further God's glory and yet humans are called upon to expose lies. Pursuant to this, human wisdom and reason are set on a throne ABOVE God, so as to JUDGE God. And yes (I repeat),
this occurs even in the body of Christ.
Paul brings the Adamic static (human bitching) to a halt in Romans 3:3-8. It is my pure pleasure and privilege to comment upon these verses of epicness.
