Dear Fellow believers,
Here is the beautiful climax of my series on the eons, recorded in 2002 in Greenwich, Ohio, during my very first broadcast series, ZenderTalk.
Every eon ends with a cataclysm. Noah's name, interestingly, means, "Stop." It is encouraging to me, as I'm sure it will be to you, that there ALWAYS comes a time for
evil to stop. God dramatically stopped the evil of Eon 2, and it will certainly stop the evil occurring daily at the end of this eon (Eon 3), which is arguably an eon even worse—in terms of widespread evil—than the preceding eon.
It should settle our hearts to know that the purpose of human government is to fail. If human government were to succeed in bringing Utopia, there would be no need for the return of Christ for Israel to set up a thousand-year kingdom upon the earth.
Yes, some human governments are better than others. It is improper, therefore, to say, "All human government is the same." There is one common denominator, however, and that is that no human government is perfect. Christ is returning, not to congratulate our politicians, but to displace them.
I talk about my own personal ark on this show, which is the time in 1993 when my wife Marcia and I drove from Greenwich, Ohio to Canton to tell my parents that I had quit the Postal
Service two weeks earlier in order to pursue my writing career (that's how I put it to them) full time. They received it surprisingly well. (Probably best that I didn't tell the full truth, that I would be heralding the gospel of Paul opportunely and inopportunely.)
This was also our anniversary week, so we booked a couple nights at a hotel in North Canton which was shaped very much like the description of the ark of Noah. This was relevant when one considers the spiritual
experience God gave us at that hotel, which I share with you in this presentation. (I call my wife "Melody" in the video because I was quite paranoid in those days and wanted to protect the identities of my family members.)
At the end of this presentation Rodney Paris tacks on a segment of MZTV 1574, recorded on October 2, 2024, titled "Everyone Wins Immortality With God." Wow. If you ever wanted a salvation of all video, here it is. I loved re-watching this video so much that
even I was taking notes while watching it. Christianity is fatally infected with false dichotomies. At the end of life here on earth—post resurrection—they believe humans face either heaven or hell. This, we know, is a lie. The true dichotomy is life or death. And do you think the Christians recognize the true dichotomy of eonian versus eternity? Of course not. They run all their teachings through the lens of eternity, concerning which Scripture says nothing; the issue is eonian life, that is,
life that endures through the eons. While everyone eventually enjoys eternal life with God, few are designated beforehand for eonian life.
It is these two vital mainstream-religion mistakes, and the correction of them, that occupies the crux of this really great MZTV offering. I know you will enjoy it.
For the rest, brethren, be comforted in the fact that we are on a certain trajectory toward eonian life that will lift us off this earth and into the
bosom of Christ, where we will meet the dead in Christ (resurrected to immortality a moment before us) to begin our joyous work of reconciling the universe to God. I am thrilled to be able to discuss with you this and other themes of great consequence.
I am thankful, as always, for your loving support of this work, without which I would have disappeared years ago in a puddle of sad disappointment. But no. God has had His hand on this work from Day 1 (October 1, 1993), and has
never stopped supporting this outreach of grace and truth through the generous hands of you, His saints. I am forever (and eonially) grateful to you for this. We are truly a united family under our head: Christ.
And so grace and peace to you all, from the edge of the bottom of the Floridan peninsula.
I am remaining your brother in Christ and servant in the Lord,
Martin
