Good morning, fellow believers. I apologize that there is no new video today from ancient days with the magic of Rodney Paris theatrics. It is not Rodney's fault. I thought all day yesterday that it was Friday. This is not helpful when Mr. Paris has a video ready to go on Saturday. When I finally discovered it was Saturday, it was too late to edit the video and get it back to
Rodney. And so next week you will be treated with the first part of a series on the book of Hebrews.
Hebrews is one of my favorite books of the Scripture. Hebrews is an absolutely necessary letter written in the wake of the kingdom, which was being announced like crazy by John the Baptist and the Messiah Himself, being withdrawn right out from under the
feet of those thinking it would be fulfilled. But there was a new, unprophesied era coming—and in fact already in play—namely, the Era of the Nations, when God would call out another people ("the nations") to form a new body known as the body of Christ. I am convinced Paul wrote Hebrews as no one was more of an expert on both gospels. Besides, there is no name attached to Hebrews, which convinces me even more that Paul wrote it. This letter is chiefly to Israel to explain to her what happened to
the kingdom. The problem is that the only man qualified to write this letter was hated and distrusted by the very people for whom the letter was written. Paul's name attached would have killed it before anyone could have read it.
Anyway, you have this to look forward to next week! (I forget how many parts comprise the Hebrew Series. Maybe 100? I
recorded it in 2014 as an audio-only series. It was part of "The All-New Martin Zender/Dan Sheridan Show," although this series contains no Dan Sheridan. I recorded the entire series at Clyde Pilkington's place in Windber, PA, where I lived for nearly two years.)
Concerning this apostle Paul guy I just mentioned, the classic video I send along today was
recommended by a loyal subscriber and viewer as an excellent introduction to the two gospels, but especially to my book on the topic (it's my most popular book) called, "The First Idiot in Heaven." Please enjoy this video from 2018, recorded on the patio outside the laundry room where I used to live.
Thank you to all who have contributed to this work.
As I always say (because it's always true), I could not do this work without you. This is lonely work, but I am thankful knowing that you are OUT THERE, and you prove your love for me and for MZTV in many ways, with one way being your financial support of this work. To all of you I offer my sincerest thanks.
I will keep producing the show and writing
books as God gives strength. There will be two new books coming out very soon, including, "How to Love Anyone."
Grace, peace, love, and appreciation to you from the edge of the bottom of the Floridan peninsula,
--Martin
