Greetings, Fellow Believers,
Martin Zender here, writing you from Lima, Peru. You are going to love these two messages on the book of Hebrews, certainly one of the most interesting books in all of Scripture.
One of the most radical truths in the first show is that "the eons have been adjusted to a declaration of God." What?? How
can eons be adjusted? Haven't the eons been set before the disruption of the world? Of course. This is a relative statement. The truth being illustrated with this figure of speech is that God "stretched the time" to allow for this unprophesied period known as the Era of the Nations, when Israel would be on the back burner and Paul's gospel to the nations would hold sway.
For those of you who, like me, hate Replacement Theology (Preterism), which states that God is finished
with His literal promises to the literal people Israel, this is your lucky day. Preterism is debunked by a careful reading of Romans, chapter 11. Heck, one doesn't even need to read it carefully to discover that Israel has been blinded only temporarily, and that once the fullness of the nations has entered in (the last member of the body of Christ has been called), God will pick up with Israel again---the literal people---and bring the literal kingdom to earth.
These
recordings were made 13 years ago. And yet I was shocked to hear myself say, "All nations will be arrayed against Israel." This isn't my genius, of course, it is prophecy. But doesn't it sound like a modern newscast?
Finally, God ALWAYS keeps but a remnant of faithful Israelites throughout this era. It's the same with the body of Christ. Only few will be found believing God. This does not prevent God from becoming all-in-all, of course, but it certainly prevents the masses
from understanding God at this time. And so this painful situation shouldn't frustrate us---although I know it does.
Thanks to all of you who have generously supported this work over the last weeks as I have been enduring this medical trial. Things are resolving, it seems, which I will report on soon enough. Your support of this work is ALWAYS appreciated. I could not do this without you. I know you know that, but I need to say it to you, at least once a week, because it is
the absolute (not relative) truth.
Your brother because of grace,
Martin
