On Monday I'm moving on. This is the final installment of paying any attention to one of religion's worst teachings besides Free Will and Eternal Torment. In this final installment, I use the enemy's own words to dismantle a false doctrine (a theory; a fantasy) that will live in infamy right before Jesus
Christ Himself, the Alpha and the Omega, destroys it.
Those who argue against the truth of Christ's pre-Bethlehem glories do not even grasp the arguments of those championing it. Additionally, in this video, you will hear in their own words how the Tories fail to even understand the very Word of God announcing Christ's greatest achievements. Christ's
glories and achievements are completely beyond them. They actually admit this, lacking the self-awareness to know they're doing it.
Never has a group be so lacking of self-awareness to announce the very flaw that destroys their position. You will hear them do this twice. They do it, first of all, by admitting they have no conception, not a single iota
of understanding, of the faith required of Christ to empty Himself from the form of God to take the form of a slave.
They do it again—compliments of Richard Golko—by explaining that they cover their position on Philippians 2:6-8 "in three sessions." Really? Three sessions?
Shockingly, Richard Golko lacks the self-awareness to realize he has once again publicized the fatal flaw of his own position: IT MUST BE LABORIOUSLY EXPLAINED. One of the Tories, Mark Haukaas, cannot explain it without "getting into the weeds." When asked for a proof text for his position, Mark Haukaas once told me, "I can't give you one now, I'm in the middle of moving."
Our position can be understood simply by quoting Scripture—with not a single word added from a human mouth being necessary. In fact, we don't have "a position" on Philippians, chapter 2. We simply believe what's written on the page. The Word of God explains itself. The Tory position, on the other hand, does NOT explain itself. It cannot be expressed in Scriptural terms. This should tell the Tories everything. Yet
it tells them nothing. They are oblivious of the monster on their backs.
The rest of us can see it clearly, and we have run the hell away from it.
