Dear Fellow Believers,
If you ever wanted a single show defining and explaining God's eons, this is the one.
In fact, here are three short shows packed into one, recorded in Windber, PA, in 2013. Originally recorded as audios, our brother Rodney Paris has put some really beautiful video behind them to make for a compelling
multimedia experience.
SHOW 45
A great overview of the eons, introducing you to the phenomenon that Israel's tabernacle system is a reflection, in space, of what the eons are in time. These things also correspond to two names of God: Yahweh and Elohim. "Yahweh" is God's time name (meaning: "will-being-was") and "Elohim" is his space name (meaning, "Placer"). God puts things where He wants them (space) during a series of eons (time.) Also highlighted here is the
ridiculous translation of the KJV for Ephesians 3:11, "God's eternal purpose." Yikes. Who is so stupid as to eternally PURPOSE something? Such a purpose is never consummated. The correct translation is "God's eonian purpose." Ah—now we're getting somewhere.
SHOW 46
Space and time is all we have, folks, and Scripture is restricted to space and time. Anyone looking for "eternity" in the Scriptures will be disappointed, and anyone hoping to be able to describe "God's timeless
realm," will also have their hopes dashed to bits—and could also possibly end up in a mental institution. And how one escapes space is anyone's guess.
Hebrews 9:2, describing Israel's tabernacle system, contains (in the CLNT) the fascinating phrase, "a worldly holy place." This is a hint for us to find, in the structure of the tabernacle system, a parallel with the world we are living in and the two worlds to come. Also, in Hebrews 9:9, Paul actually says that "the tabernacle
is a parable for the present period." Wow! This proves that there is a correspondence between Israel's tabernacle set-up and the eonian times. In other words, the five areas of the temple correspond to the five eons.
In this show, I explain how the first four eons correspond to the first four sections of the tabernacle system.
SHOW 47
Now we get to Eon 5, demonstrating how this eon corresponds to the "holy of holies" in the tabernacle system. I describe
how the tabernacle system is "a Sunday-school picture" of the eons. For those who think the eonian times are somewhat abstract, God has provided a 3-D picture of the five eons in the five distinct areas of Israel's temple set-up.
Also discussed here are the unique Greek phrases, 1) "eons of the eons," 2) "eon of the eons," and 3) "eon of the eon." The KJV and other common English versions slaughter these beautiful distinctions by making them all, "forever and ever." This is
one of the worst translations ever. To render it this way, the translators must change the Greek word "aion" to "ever," then they must ignore the plural, then they must ignore the genitive case of the nouns ("of this"), and then insert the Greek connective "kai" ("and) where it does not exist. This they do—all before breakfast.
I love this video, and so will you. I've been making sense for a living for a long time now.
