Imagine the billions and billions of people standing at the Great White Throne, looking up and hearing the words, "Christ died for your sins." This is Paul's gospel, and for many standing here it will be their very first contact with it. And boy, will they be happy to meet it.
But imagine this: we have come into early contact with this gospel—the same gospel that billions—including Adam himself—will benefit from a thousand years from now.
For comparison, imagine watching the Israelite artificer, Bezalel, building
the Ark of the Covenant (Exodus chapter 31). You're one of the first to see it, to touch it, to appreciate what it will mean to Israel for centuries—how famous it will become. What a privilege to touch it early before anyone else knows about it.
What a privilege for us to be the early beneficiaries of an evangel that will, in the end, shed it's light
upon nearly every human being that has ever walked the earth.
