The passage describing in great detail the snatching away of living members of the body of Christ at the return of the Lord came to Paul "by the word of the Lord" (1 Thessalonians 4:15). The text does not say, as in Acts 13:2, "The holy spirit said, 'Sever, by all means, to Me Barnabas and Saul.'" No doubt
the holy spirit was articulated then through a known prophet.
But here in 1 Thessalonians 4, it is the Lord Himself revealing this amazing truth to Paul—probably in a personal appearance.
It always distresses
me when members of the body of Christ "grapple" with this truth, or "question" this truth, or, worse, come to disbelieve it. There has to be an ulterior motive behind it, for doubting these plain words—the plainest Paul has ever written—is like doubting that 2 + 2 = 4.
And then when some believers who have believed in the snatching away for years find
the "evidence" against it—articulated by the grapplers—to be "compelling"? Well, I blow a gasket. Basically, I spend 75% of this show blowing a gasket. All for your benefit and edification, of course.
At the beginning of the show I give you my opinion on the U.S./Iran situation.
Grace and peace to one and all.
